Itinerary description
An easy, but very picturesque hike with great views of Lake Biwa and the Sea of Japan and a small emergency hut at the top to take shelter from the winds and enjoy a hot drink and some lunch. Despite it's relatively low elevation, its proximity to the sea results in solid snow cover in winter. A good beginner's snow hike.
