Itinerary description
We hiked to the Watchtower campground from the Skyline trail. The Watchtower basin is beautiful, however, the hike out is rugged. Trail is not well maintained and contained many stream crossings and trail was sometimes hard to find. The campground was easy to locate coming from the Skyline, but would be more difficult to find hiking in on the trail as it was somewhat difficult to find the trail out.
