Itinerary description
In Spiš Kapitula and in the location called Pažica experts discovered the unique concept of the territory that looks like Jerusalem. The hypothesis on the existence of „Spiš Jerusalem“ was also confirmed by historians. This monument aimed to allow worshippers to experience
a crusade in time when a pilgrimage to the Holy Land was problematic.
As a part of our Erasmus + project Can you tell me the way to... tracing our European identity on foot we visited and hiked part of this trail.
Possibilities of accomodation:

3. Pension Chalupka in Spisske Podhradie
Directions: To get to Spis Jerusalem, just get off the motorway near Spis castle and follow the road sighn to Spisska Kapitula. Hiking trail starts here.
