Itinerary description
Walking up the Viros Gorge. The dogleg on the way out was the route we planned to take. The path was pretty overgrown with brambles though and after maybe 100m we turned back and went back to the riverbed. Route back was direct to Hagia Sofia, then down to Kardamili. The short dogleg on the return was a quick detour to the supposed acropolis of ancient Kardamili. This is now signposted with a small wooden sign rather than one of the standard green or brown metal ones.
