Itinerary description
Every year in January we do an overnight snow hike / New Year's party here at Fujimidai. It is a short, relatively easy hike with 3 emergency huts available for use along the way. This time because of the extreme cold (-25C), we elected to stay in the lower elevation hut with a wood burning stove, and hike up to the summit on the next morning. This track is the hike from the hut to the summit, and back to the trailhead on day two.
