Itinerary description

This trail is based on my trip to Hamamatsu on April 6, 2019. Funakoshi Park and its adjacent Magome riverside is one of the most popular cherry viewing sites in Hamamatsu. It is not exactly the park has so many cherry trees but it is the view of the neighboring cherry trees lined up just like cherry tunnel. The best place to enjoy such magnificent cherry blossoms could be the area close to the swimming pool. When I went to the park on Saturday April 6 that section has already been occupied. During the cherry viewing season the riverside road is open to Hanami viewers and no automobiles can enter. And Magone river is off-limits to most of the areas and this place is one of the exception.
