Itinerary description
Followed the road of Hamragerðisheiði all the way to the gate. Took the left trail from there over super rocky and sometimes steep track all the way to the snowline. Then followed recently driven trails all the way to the top, navigating over crevasses where they seemed the least bit open. The Glacier was relatively cracked for this time of the year due to high temps.
