Itinerary description
This trail starts in Kallamas (Tuminec) and follows initially trail number 8 of the Prespa National Park hiking map (church trail). After the ascent on the high plateau, you deviate from trail 8 and take a short cut directly to Saint Maresa monastery. From there again you follow trail number 8 along the shore of the great Prespa Lake back to the village. The round tour is beautiful especially in spring when you can see the pelicans on the lake or during the festivities in the Shen Maresa monastery in end July.
