Parking Area Trailhead
A Recreation Fee Pass (Northwest Forest Pass) parking permit is required at the trailhead. It costs $5 per car per day or $30 per season. If you don't have one you can self-pay at a station just as you turn onto Forest Road 12.
Jack Lake
You can camp around this lake.
Lower Meadow
This is a good spot to stop for out of shape people or people with young children. You get a nice meadow with tons of wild flowers and view of Three Fingered Jack. This is a wildflower sanctuary. Do not pick the flowers. Whether you choose to go on to the Upper Meadow or head back to your car you should continue clock wise around the loop.
Upper Meadow
Hiking to this upper meadow isn't too much harder and you get a better view of Three Fingered Jack.
Cirque Lake
This little lake from glacial run off is an amazing turquoise color.
Viewpoint Saddle
Great views of the cascades with Three Sisters & Mt Washington to the West and Mt Jefferson to the East. Of course Three Fingered Jack towers above you.
Trail Junction & Water Fall
There is a side trail here that is a .7 mile hike to Wasco Lake. There is also a small waterfall nearby.
