Itinerary description
The road out of Brazza heading north is a two lane tarmac road. There are some potholes, but the road improves the further north you go. Once I left the main road it became rather arduous. The last stretch is piste with deep sand carved into the Congo valley. It won't be any problem in 4x4s, on a motorcycle it will be fun for people with the right tyres and experience with riding on deep sand.
The ferry to Bolobo is a pirogue, my KTM 690 was the biggest bike the locals ever saw there. A boxer engine most likely wont fit in the boats.
