Itinerary description
This trail starts at the resident of the Grand Duke and will take through all the forests and villages surrounding the Stauséi.
You will see a lot of nature and the beautiful Luxembourg Ardennes
The trail consists of 40% on and 60% off road, it took me 5h30min. Expect some mud if it had rained in the weeks before you are going. The trail should be passable by every SUV with a bit more ground clearance during the dry season. The mix of on and offroad is quite enjoyable. There are two water crossings, one quite easy at the small part which crosses over to Belgium and a big one (the deepest in Luxembourg, if you know a even deeper one please put it in the comments) at Tadler. Only go through the water if you and your vehicle feel comfortable, you can circumnavigate it.
Disclaimer, the first forest might be closed of by gates, I kept it because the very first part of the trail (which is not closed of by gates) is very fun to drive, quite steep and muddy. If you arrive at a closed gate in the first forest take a right and rejoin CR305 to Michelbouch then left onto CR360 which rejoins CR306 which is on the path again. After that there were no more gates (at time of driving it 2022-07)

Good route. Most of it is very passable / paved roads, but there are some very steep / sloppy sections that require low range. Note that some of this route passes ‘do not enter’ signs if driven in reverse, though I believe most of this route is legal.
The Route seems fun, but it passes through a Natur protected area. Is it legal in Luxembourg? I would like to to know before I adventure myself.
In Luxembourg it is in general not legal to go off-roading, if you are respectful to nature and other users of the trails it is tolerated. It is always on you own risk.
Bonjour. Je peux rouler en quad dans cette Trail qui vous avez fait?
Merci
The trail runs through private forest properties and nature reserves. Since this trail is 90% illegal, it is strongly discouraged. Property owners have already been informed.
