Hi Joan, do you recon this route is possible/safe solo on land rover defender?

  • Joan2966 Nov 9, 2022

Hi Christopher, this trail was made in 2013, and the track was well marked and we rolled safely. In Western Sahara, the rule is to always drive on the lane and avoid leaving it, if it disappears, choose to drive where there are more tire tracks, remember that this territory was a zone of armed conflict. Whenever you don't feel safe, because you don't have a clue, go back and try to control. I hope all goes well on the way. Compliments

Thanks Joan. We’re hoping to do this in January. Sorry for all the questions but did you encounter much fesh fesh on the route?

No problem, you gone encounter some sand, not much, most are fast lane. Dont remember to finding fesh fesh. And dont forget to fill up the tank in Smara. Regards
