Itinerary description
Day trip to Becker Lake Rec Site near Vernon. Becker lake a small and popular rec site. The route has great views of Kalamaka Lake, Coldstream and beyond at a few viewpoints west of the Becker lake rec site. Access off hwy 6 at Noble Canyon road. Routing road is easy (gravel road easy for cars) to Rec site, but beyond that exiting at Vernon’s Hartnell road is difficult and 4wd and high clearance needed, as this section is a deactivated trail with a gate and narrow concrete blocks gate placed at end of Hartnell road. But there is a 100 ft diversion around block gate.
