Not a 4x4 only. You can drive this trail with any car. In mid winter it might of course be a different matter. When it’s thaw you might want some this else then a street slicker.
We drove it in mars and the thaw had made parts of the roads quite soft. There was a weight limit at 4 ton at one part. A kilometre or so was also locked with chains, but there was a alternative road more or less parallel to the trail.
I would say the trail is 25% tarmac and 75% gravel.
