Itinerary description
Route 17 of the book EXPLORE KYRGYZSTAN. This route connects Lake Song-Kul to the town of Naryn, via the magnificent Moldo-Ashuu Pass (3,346 m). The route rises gently through the green pastures of Lake Song-Kul up to the Moldo-Ashuu pass. Although the tight hairpin bends of the Moldo- Ashuu Pass are a real challenge for cyclists, this dusty route is otherwise not particularly difficult.
