Looking doing this route the the future. What’s it like? Lots of rough sections? Camping?

At the time I created the map it stitched together a route along logging roads. Portions of those roads may be tight with overgrowth now, I haven’t been through there in a number of years. I just put up a picture of a creek crossing near the Siwash end of the trail that was taken a week ago (Oct 2023)

Thanks. From what I been reading it around it does get very tight in areas. I can’t see it being better next year after the snows.

Any other trails in the area of Siwash that you could recommend?

Unfortunately none that go through to anywhere or are a circuit. I sometimes look at Google Earth aerials to try to see if there are new logging road paths to explore

That’s what I thought. I don’t see much of anything. Gaia gps shows “Public tracks” (hotspots and past usage) on their maps and that area shows nothing until you get further east towards Summerland. True wilderness in said area.
