Itinerary description
Route 19 of the book EXPLORE KYRGYZSTAN. Lake Kol-Suu sparkles bright blue, perched in the middle of high granite cliffs. Set at an altitude of 3,500 m, this lake is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in the country. The track to get there has been rebuilt from scratch and isn’t particularly difficult. From the yurt camp, it takes 4 to 5 hours of hiking (round trip) on foot or on horseback to reach the lake.
