Itinerary description
Generally a moderate trail with a few difficult (and optional) climbs along rough paths and some gorgeous vistas of the surrounding areas. Definitely _not_ scratch free.
The track starts at the harbour of Tkon, close to the ferry to the mainland, and first leads along the coast at sea level. Then the trail leads inland along a number of rough gravel and rocky tracks. Most of these are not difficult, but AT tires are recommended and the road requires you to pay attention. There is large number of sideway deviations possible, including to coves and beaches where you can swim, so plenty of room to extend the track and make it your own.
Be aware of two difficult ascents. The first comes at the beginning and leads to a communications tower. The path is quite difficult because it is steep and largely consists of loose, large rocks, so good tires, low pressure and plenty of ground clearance are a must. Be aware that the path is narrow and you can only turn at the top, and I don't recommend going down in reverse. So only go up if you are confident you can rock crawl to the top. But it's worth it, the view is superb.
The second tough ascent comes at the very end and should be avoided unless you have plenty of time, a tough rig and a good saw/axe. The path is steep and loose rocks like the first ascent, but the middle of the path is overgrown with tough plants/saplings that will severely scratch your car and possible damage your underside. I spent 30 minutes crawling up 200 meters or so, cutting away branches and shrubs, and I decide to give up because it was getting late and it was too much work to get to the other side of the hill.
There are some nice points along the way. On the top of one hill you will find a surprise: a lonely, tall and narrow tower of the fire brigade where a single person watches out for fires on the island. And you will come across the ruins of an old villa. For the rest there are shrubs, olive trees, the occasional illegal garbage dump and lots, lots of rocks.
Have fun, I know I did!

Description is highly accurate. I passed the ascent at the end - 3hrs + chainsaw as advised and a winch was inevitable in the middle.
Otherwise, nice views and generally recommended.
There is a not difficult walking trail (20mins) at the beginning to a ruin of a fortress Pustograd from 6th century with nice views.

Very easy but enjoyable track. If you skip the difficult parts (mentioned in description) you can do it in SUV of even normal car. I did 90% of the trail only on rear wheel drive. Views are amazing.

Just amazing! Quite easy also with a SUV AWD. Thanks for the precise information
