Scenery
Difficult
A great trail to follow, it exposes you to a variety of conditions and passes through some attractive towns and Villages. The trail is approximately 30% offroad 70% on tarmac.
The start of the trail (Near Mortemart) takes you along some very narrow tracks flanked by stone walls , just enough width to get through and are challenging in some areas with only a few millimetres to spare each side. After St Junien the trails are wider with some sections that were quite muddy and rutted.
We followed the trail on 1 Jan 2019, the conditions were good considering the time of year, if it had been much wetter it would have been potentially very difficult.
Our Vehicle: Isuzu Trooper, un-modified but fitted with all terrain tyres.
