Itinerary description
This nice drive through Sundown National Park is a short alternative to the full tracks reaching the camp sites knowing that these can take you more than two hours one way depending on your vehicle.
The lookout offers a beautiful view on the Red Rock Gorge. Try to come at sunset!
You will need a 4wd, ideally with low gears. The clearance isn't too much of an issue with a standard height 4WD. The difficulty is relatively the same all the way. If you can do the first kilometer, you can do the rest. You cannot get lost as there are signs at the two crossings.
The app stopped registering for a short while but you can see the track on the sattelite view and cannot get lost.
