Itinerary description
This track takes you from the airport in Port-au-Prince to the small town of Carnillon via Thomazeau through the mountains north of Lake Azuei.
Even through the track is not even 60km, it will take you several hours to get there as the road is really ruff and windy. A 4WD car is certainly required as well as some experience driving mountain tracks.
Allthough there is no special reason to go to Carnillon, it's a very beautiful drive with frequent beautiful views over Lake Azuei. The landscape changes every few turns making it quite an enjoyable ride even though the track is quite tuff
