Itinerary description

Beautiful route with mountain pastures, extensive views. On the way, drive through several peaks. There are very difficult elements - slope and stony. I made the path in 2009, currently unfortunately part (Transalpina) is asphalted. At the beginning of the monastery route, you can visit, buy something.

Not in the place of the point just after leaving Vojneasy. I do not know how to improve. The monastery, you can buy souvenirs, explore. In the monastery a very old church with paintings.

I have followed this trail  View more

I do not reccomend to pass further on this track than to Mt. Cristiesti (N45 31.588 E23 47.301). From that point on there is no more beaten track (the descent from the top, seen on the pictures, is completely eroded and impassable in my opinion) and you have to drive over slopes (danger of rolling) and mossy grass (slippery) with hidden rocks. Furthermore the passage to the forest trail by the shepherd's huts under Mt. Steflesti is overgrown with creeping mountain pines and very rocky and eroded. Maybe in 2009 the trail was very difficult, but passable, but now it borders on insanity.
The rest of the trail is pure beauty.

Fakt, część szlaku powinna być opisana "tylko dla ekspertów", mniejsze koła niż 35" nie wchodzą w grę. I aktualnie chyba już nie wolno tam jeździć :( No i Transalpina to już asfalt :(
