Itinerary description
Philippines, Co. Ifugao, Banaue -> Batad - driving + walking
We took a jeepney from the cetre of Banaue to Batad summit. From that location we had to walk 1.5 hours to reach Batad village. This tour is a must, where the old jeep shows how quality made he is. Very narrow roads (originally for walking), traffic from opposite direction, extremely bumpy road, and other impediments, but the experienced filipino jeep captain could smootly manage everything). After we reached the summit we walked downhill to Batad, it is a quite narrow path and it begins with very steep stairs, no other way to get to Batad.
