Itinerary description
Drove most of the trails to Grand Marais except the beginning few miles in Paradise were impassable due to large water holes. Therefore, we had to jump out onto the main highway to get us to the next trail. After leaving Grand Marais we came up to more wet trails with large water holes. We ended up turning around and taking a county road back to M-28 and eventually M-123 back to Paradise. There was one section of trail on the way to Grand Marais we had to turn around because the trail became too narrow. But, we had a blast. Between the water holes, sand, tree roots, sharp curves with uneven terrain we had a blast, but definitely a "moderate" drive.
