Itinerary description
A relatively "dry" crossing trough the Pantanal from West to East. This track will be impassible during most of the year. Only during the dry season (July to September) will this be possible. Should be easy (mostly sandy) in September. Still a lot of water in July. This track avoids most of the deeper water. You should still expect waist deep water, deep mud and deep sand. Beware of the crocs when wading trough the water! Took us a few days. Make sure you have the autonomy! Closest fuel is Miranda in the west and Rio Verde in the east. This is very remote, you're on your own if you are in trouble!
We did this in July 2023 with an Iveco Daily 4x4(37", triple locked). Track starts at Pantanal Jungle lodge and and ends at Fazenda Inhumas.
