Itinerary description

We took the Owl Creek Pass road as an alternate route from Ridgway to US-50. This easy driving road passes through through the Uncompahgre National Forest and tops out at Owl Creek Pass. Take the short detour at the pass for a view of Chimney Rock and Courthouse Mountain. From the pass the road gently descends to the Silver Jack Reservoir and eventually intersects with US-50. he road is suitable for any vehicle providing care is taken in some spots.
