Itinerary description
Vârciorova - Răchiți
A link day between Orsova and our next place (Unfortunatelly boring due to paved roads).
Had no time to cross mostly over the hills (Isverna, Tismana, etc) since we started late.
Also we've visited the Iron Gate I. Museum.
Was not our greatest Museal experience, but once here it worth to have that cca one hour!
It is strongly advised to pop-in and try Burek with Ayran in Orsova, close to 5he roundabout and Petrom Gas station.
Is did by Kosovar family and it's fabulous!
Warm/hit Burek (cheese or meat), cool Ayran! Original Balkan experience!
Anyone should stop there!
The road itself: paved :(
Any normal car suits for it.
Big mining town are ugly, but the villages and nature do compensate it!
The 1st photos shows our accomodation for the previous 4 nights.
Apart of being built with taste in a rustic way, it is totally quite (no main road or railway traffic).
Electric driven boats, fast motor boat, and other aquatic activity apparatus can be rent - it is also a Mecca for fishers).
If someone needs the phone of the owner, write me and can send it?
