Itinerary description
Feb 18, 2012 9:33 am Westin Talic Mine and Sperry Wash Start at the corner of 160 just before Pahrump and the road to Tecopa the Old Spanish Trail. Trail rated a 2.5. The first part of it is a lot of ledge trails , and a steep down hill. It is stock doable but it must be 4wheel drive. A little care and going slow and you should make it ok. There are a few water crossings and lots of rocks. Bring lunch. Have fun and enjoy a little challenge. This is a very beautiful run. Thru several large open pit mines, and a side trip to cathedral canyon.
