Itinerary description
Only difficult if you follow the entire track, otherwise I would say this is a moderate trail. Wadi portion is not advisable for stock height 4x4s.
Recommended mods: Jeep JK with 2.5” lift and 285s/33” tires (undercarriage and skid plates will be damaged from rock strikes).

Hey, can I ask which section is the wadi section? And is it easy to avoid.
Thinking to do this route in my standard pajero.
Ciaran, the area is very nice to explore this time of year. I haven’t been there since the recent storms so conditions may have changed. It may be difficult for you to access the area in a standard Pajero. If you stay on the main access road you will find a very steep entry point at the base of the mountain pass, if you take the road to the right on the way in you will be driving in the wadi. I suggest you try the wadi route to see how it goes. We had jeeps and one FJ Cruiser with us, the FJ was dragging all over the place on the rocks. Best to go with a second vehicle if you are trying this area in a stock vehicle.
