Itinerary description
A nice trail from near the Mingus Mountain summit to the Cottonwood Airport.
Trail goes from the rest area on Hwy 89A to Forest Roads 104, 413, and 493 - ending up in Cottonwood. Take this trail either direction, and loop through Jerome on the way back.
There are a few narrow and rocky sections, plus potential wash outs in some areas, so trail is rated moderate - but no problem for a high clearance 4x4.
