Itinerary description
Start in centre of Mestia. Follow road towards airfield, take a left to cross the river. After the bridge take a right and follow the dirt trail Al the way up.
Sandy/ dirt track. A couple of big holes along the route, some hairpin turns. Narrow track so watch out for incoming traffic. Near the top a couple of steep inclines.
Trail can be muddy and slippery when wet. There are a lot of guided tours going up and down, so there is some traffic.
