As we had to make the most of the time, while in the morning we swam with green turtles, in the afternoon we climbed to the heights in an off-road vehicle; and when we say to the heights we refer to the sacred and great father "Mauna Kea" that together with the other giant "Mauna Loa" gave rise to the great island of Hawaii, also called Big Island.
We arrived at the area where the astronomical observatories are located at dusk, and there are several groups that with their cameras try to portray a sunset between the clouds of the Pacific, a moment that I take advantage of to climb to the summit of the great volcano, which with its summit of more than four thousand two hundred meters is considered by the Hawaiians as the greatest height on the planet, since they also count the more than five thousand meters that emerges from the depths of the sea.
The climb to the top is not very difficult, since the little path that leads to the top is quite well signposted, although you have to be careful that at this altitude, you have to dose the effort and take things quite calmly, which I don't do it, neither on the way up, nor on the way down.
When we got off in the car, we decided to stop at just over three thousand meters, to contemplate one of the cleanest and most spectacular skies that can be seen on our planet.
We do it for a long time, until an immense full moon makes an appearance, which with its powerful light seems to want to steal the limelight from all the other stars in the sky.
