Itinerary description
This track is a really nice chill track, but still challenging in places. Be warned that this track doesn't link up to another road so you'll have to do the track, then go back on yourself to get out. The location at the end is lovely though as there's a place to set up your trucks and have some bacon rolls! Views are great on this track but bring a passenger as there's tons of gates! By the looks of it it's old farmer's tracks with a very muddy section at the end.

Very nice lane, I'd say it was easy except for that final 300m or so from the last gate to the farmhouse with some deep ruts and mud pits but still passable in a Discovery 3. Pleasant trip out, great views at the lake and a nice spot for dinner!
Just done Lost Lake. Easy enough trail and absolutely stunning. Definitely one of my favourite chilled trails. Enjoy the end with the ruins by the lake. Thanks to magic Mike for putting the day together 👍

I did this with my daughter in an unmodified 2010 Land cruiser: Great Fun!
1. Two people handy for gates.
2. Final stretch (running along the lake itself) is quite moist.. I would seriously consider not doing the final ford...water came up to the upper end of my wading depth, and then you have to turn around and do it again.
Overall brilliant drive, not too tough with great views

I've done this trails, thanks to you, great views out of this world, last section past last gate the most challenging, do not recommend without proper skid plate, video of my trip. ✓✓
