Itinerary description

Good easy lane without any difficult bits, beautiful lake at the end and an option to leave out a different route. Stunning views with good weather in the Summer and a real different experience if you can get it in the snow!

Great little track with a perfect place at the end for bacon sarnies! Be warned it's not a through route and you have to go back the same way you came in! Lovely views.

Does anyone know if this route is scratchy ? I don’t want to ruin the paint finish of the car. Thank you

Ein schöner Track. Ein bissle Bodenfreiheit ist am Ende besser. Mit 32 Rädern auf dem Pickup kein Problem. Danke.

Drove very recently (November 2023), very washed out at the moment. There are talks of some repair work being done to put it back to a more useable state. If you do get stuck there's nobody around to pull you back out so would advise taking a friend. Wouldn't personally recommend at the moment without good tyres and some spotters. Only due to some quite deep washed out sections which are in need of repair and can get you into trouble fairly quickly. If in doubt, walk sections first because it gets very boggy after rainfall. Amazing route with splendid views otherwise.

Very washed out you need a spotter just to get onto the main bit and then there are hip height deep ruts as it’s extremely washed out needs some repairs
