Itinerary description

This is an easy trail...if there is no snow on the track.
On the 24th of December 2016 there is as much snow as you can see on the pictures so l have this trail rated as moderate. The car did not go all the way to the end and trying to do so would be extremely dangerous. The car is a stock Jeep KJ Liberty 2006 with a minimum clearance of 16cm below the engine, but the tires are BFG MK2 mud terrain and these are as good as snow chains or snow tires on this car.
Pay attention to the tires you are to use on such conditions!
The car has gone as far as the tracks of the 5th photo. After that there was a 1,5km distance to the Observatory and we tried to do that on foot. There is a lot of packed snow and ice and walking needs caution too!
We didn't manage to get to the end because of the strong winds and the very cold temperatures...but this is very feasible.
