Itinerary description
Way to Askja caldera and visit to Viti crater. You are forced to use a Monster 4x4, and depend of the weather and water. We made it with a Turist Company. The Waypoint 010 indicates the way by walk to the Viti crater. In that time it was so wet that we couldn´t take a bath inside of it.

We're 5 people driving in a 4x4 engine car all around Iceland. We'd like to know how long it takes to drive from Reykjahlid to Askja...in some blogs they say between 3'5-4h one way...how long did it take to you?
