Itinerary description
I've put together an all-day wheeling tour of George Washington National Forest roads west of Harrisonburg, VA and north of Hwy 33. These roads can be done in a stock Jeep Wrangler. There are plenty of side roads to explore. Consult the GWNF MVUM and the National Geographic Trails Illustrated map. These roads are open year round. They are excellent for snow wheeling but use extreme caution because there is no nearby assistance. TREAD LIGHTLY.
