Itinerary description

An interesting day trip in the Anza Borrego with the possibility of side trips into the Hills of the Moon Wash and the Rainbow Wash. In the sand dunes you can test your 4x4 skills.

A 4x4 with sufficient ground clearance of about 8 inches is required. After a rain some passages may become difficult or impassable.
