Itinerary description
Road that goes above the plage blanche and than till the Tafnidilt ksar over the dunes
A fabulous trail, being alone I preferred to avoid the plage Blanche but the track that runs along it from the top of its coves is really worth with breathtaking landscapes.
The track runs for a stretch of the works on a probable new-asphalted road and after gets lost among the meadows. After crossing the Oued the trails climbs up to skirt the sea along a track that was first sandy and then fast with stones used by fishermen, when it resumes the road for the ksar Tafinidilt the track returns to get lost in small sand dunes. Excellent welcome in Fort Bou jerif, which was open with an extremely nice new management and the Ksar Tafnidilt, is not far behind even if given the period it was semi-closed both promising a wonderful view on the desert in a very comfortable and clean space
We lost the track a couple of times (one among the rocks and one among the dunes) but we found it back easily. The 4x4 is required to overcome several sandy trails and few small dunes, getting out of the oued with low speed would help to control the car on the rocky trail that goes down and up for quite a few meters.

Marjane
for a stop to stock up on food and diesel I recommend the Marjane di Guelmin, for a bit of fish or meat instead the souck of the city is excellent with nice sellers and easy prices, nothing to do with the classic tourist souck
