Itinerary description
Permission Required: 3€.
You can buy the permission on the "tabaccaio" in
A) Foppolo city center;
B) Hotel Des Alpes;
C) Rifugio Dordona;
The route from Foppolo (the first km's!) are not so simple! You will find lots of loose rocks and holes in the ground, so pay attention! This is why I rated "Technical difficulty: Moderate".
For 3/4 of the route, it is easy smooth and made out of dirt roads. You will find a perfect place to camp in the bottom of the valley, next to the water. This is a very panoramic route, and you cannot miss a stop to eat something at the Rifugio Dordona and a stop at the very top on the World War 1 trenches!
For sure this is one of my best trips!

Night there too?
Yes, it is possible. I did just that :-D
I did my camping in the lower part of the valley, next to the river. You will find a good spot next to a small bridge.

Trail information was very helpful. In the end l just did part of this trail up to the Rifugio, l was planning to camp out but bad storm blow in so cut it short.
