Itinerary description
A beautiful mountain route with cooler camping spots during the summer months.
The first half is easy-moderate.
The second half is moderate-difficult. I forgot to take photos in that part but it was similar to the earlier areas, only steeper.
A few steep climbs/descents. I’d recommend dropping tyre pressure 20% from road pressure and using Low-range in limited steep descents to maintain control.
A drive that’s definitely worth doing!

Nice trail with a mix of challenging climbs and amazing scenery. Advised to use low-range gear for the many downhill tracks to prevent burning the break pads.
For a new comer to off roading, I was a bit overwhelmed when I did some steep up and down hill drives. Ideally post completing this now it feels moderate. New bee off roaders should have company and should not travel alone in one vehicle on this trial as there is absolutely zero network in some parts of this trail.
Net net, this was a very good experience and it helped me open up as an off roader.

Fun trail to do, never very far from paved roads but quiet on the trail itself. I needed the ground clearance of my lifted truck here and there to get over boulders and rough terrain, but most of the trail is gravel and very doable. I did most of it in 4H.
Did the trail, amazing views, most of it is easy, except the last quarter which i found a bit technical. Great experience though.
