Itinerary description
From Riyadh, it takes about 1 hour on the main road and about 30 minutes offroad. You don't need a 4x4, but a 4x4 with high clearance is always recommended for safety.
The best time to go is to witness the sunset. This place is inside a protected area so it is safe even to drive back at night.
