From the Mvubu exit to the Mountain Zebra NP entrance is boring. However, the Mountain Zebra park is fantastic!
Views over grasslands, mountains and a very challenging 4x4 route taken in the park.
The 4x4 route in the park requires sufficient ground height and low-gear and locks! But you don't have to do that / you can also skip it. There is no warning about the difficulty level... and it is one-way traffic (nice challenge).
Frequently seen along the way (entire route), ostriches, warthog, duiker, klipspringer, mountain zebra, hartebeest, blesbok, caracal, vervet monkey, ground squirrel secretary bird, springbok, baboon, waterbuck, etc.
