Itinerary description
DAY 3 - Landmannalaugar to Grafarkirkja
Wake up early and have a bath in the river again if you feel like it. Keep following "main" road until you exit it after 1h of driving. From there things get off-road. About 2 kms after you leave main road theres a tricky slope downhill, but slowly and with good pace you can go through with no problem. Keep following track with amazing scenery. Apart from that, not much more to say... have fun and enjoy Iceland.
To sleep, we had good weather and we found a great spot near Grafarkirkja by the side of a river. Cool day. Eat and sleep well.

Welcome to Iceland petrocampers, this is the trip @petrocamp prepared and did on Sept 2015 for 5 days with a Land Rover (super)Defender. We used the app MOTION-X GPS to navigate, it is what works best for us (if you have an iPad Mini [Wifi+3G] it’s a kickass combination). Hope this helps you plan your trip to Iceland!
