Boračko Lake is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes and is located at the foot of Prenj Mountain. The lake basin was created in Boracka Draga by the process of glacial erosion and is the only glacial lake in this part. The beauty of the lake is reflected in its biodiversity which makes this a real paradise for fishermen. Many fish species enrich the fauna of the Boračko Lake such as carp, brown trout, rainbow trout, and noble crayfish (Astacus astacus). Edges of the lake are decorated by water lilies and reeds that grow there, as well as the unique view of the surrounding mountains, Bjelašnica, Visočica, and Prenj which add up to the beauty of the Boračko Lake. Boračko Lake is a 30-minute car ride away from the center of the city of Konjic.
