Itinerary description
The off-road 4x4 trail from Bela to Pokojec offers a mix of asphalt and gravel roads, providing a relatively smooth start to the journey. However, as adventurers venture beyond Pokojec, the terrain becomes progressively more demanding, especially as they approach the summit of Ivanšćica.
Leaving Pokojec behind, drivers encounter rougher gravel tracks and uneven terrain, requiring heightened concentration and precise vehicle control. The trail begins to ascend more steeply, with inclines becoming steeper and obstacles more frequent.
As drivers progress closer to the top of Ivanšćica, the challenges intensify. The gravel roads give way to narrow paths flanked by rocky outcrops and dense vegetation, demanding both technical driving skills and a keen eye for navigation. Sections of the trail may require careful maneuvering to negotiate tight corners and avoid obstacles such as boulders and fallen branches.
The elevation gain adds another dimension to the difficulty level, with thinner air and changing weather conditions potentially impacting vehicle performance and driver comfort. Despite these challenges, the allure of reaching the summit drives adventurers forward, spurred on by the promise of stunning views and a sense of accomplishment.
Upon reaching the summit, adventurers are rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, a testament to their perseverance and determination. The descent through Vuglovec offers a different set of challenges, as drivers negotiate steep declines and loose terrain while descending towards Ivanec.
Throughout the journey, participants are surrounded by the natural beauty of the Croatian landscape, with towering peaks, lush forests, and cascading waterfalls providing a picturesque backdrop to the adventure. The trail is not only a test of skill and endurance but also an opportunity to connect with nature and experience the thrill of off-road exploration in its purest form.

Drive from west to east, Fantastic climb up from Lepglava. We found it hard to continue after the road section and turn back.
on the way from Bela you come to a refuge where you pass on the right and then turn left into the trail there were such strong lashings and washings
