Itinerary description
Route #1 of our Transpirenaica Trip 2021
You'll start in Arles Sur Tech. A good conditioned but curvy road leads to the Col de la Descarga Pass at 1.400m. Here you have to turn right on a gravel road. After some km, you'll find the Tower "Torre de Batera" on the left side. It is possible to camp on a meadow below the tower. The gravel road's getting down already, until you'll find yourself on asphalt again. Over a gravel road you can make a detour through some "emergency gravel roads" on the right. If you follow the main road, you can visit Castelnou. One of the nicest villages in France.
After that you have to drive back a little bit to get to another gravel road which finally leads to Ille Sur Tet and the main N260 road.
