We go up along a flat asphalt road.
Green fields towards the Nile
45 min stop In Damir in this city it seems there are only commercial activities and market absolutely nothing touristy, people are smiling, friendly, they photograph us and want to be photographed. Seen on sale iron beds and doors, white tunics, legumes, barbers, hardware stores, fruit and vegetables. Desert that cuts the bend of the Nile (Bayuda) crossed by a paved road, absolutely flat yellow earth a few bushes of zucchini, acacias, Fata Morgana, few refreshment points along the way: a canopy possibility to drink a cup of tea, nothing other.
Short detour to visit the remains of a Coptic monastery north of Karima and on the other bank of the river.
