This trail was performed in winter time (late February) under heavy snow -above 1.500m.- and mud in the lower parts.
The trail deviates significantly from the proper path especially in the final ascent due to the conditions, snow and time restrictions.
Certain parts were high risk. Use of special equipment (crampons/ice axe) and very good physical condition are deemed necessary.
The descent from waypoint “Mountain pass- Διασελο” (2.058m) to waypoint “Geocache” (1.791m) required use of crampons due to high risk of skidding.
Below that were various precarious points due to the snow buildup forming “small” ledges.
Please follow return path when ascending from the refuge from the Refuge to waypoint “Intersection” (864m).
The dogs were friendly but best avoid them when and if they are with their flock.
The well was full but potability is unknown-best avoid.
