Itinerary description
Mt. Zepes (1983 m) is located between Kukes and Mirdite district.
It is part of the famous Bjeshket e Oroshit mountain and ethnographic region.
The human-caused deforestation has been quite damaging in this area.
There are new forests but they are still very fragile and prone to cutting.
Nonetheless there are also quite interesting views like towards Munella Mountain, Albanian Alps, Gjallica, Korab-Koritnik mountains etc.
The direction in the left is goes to the highest peak. The turn to the right was a failure due to distance of the mission to also visit the Guri i Nuses peak.
